  1. Excellent point about why there can’t be a pre-tribulation rapture!! I really like the rest too about the differences between the wheat and tares. Great pictures too.

  3. i am preaching on satans strategy in fighting the gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ and i came up with the text on Matt. about wheat and tares. its so happened that I search the exact picture of wheat and tares and the net led me to your site… it helps me and the church people a lot just to picture the difference of the two… God bless and thank yoy for this..

    • Hello Bryan, It’s always nice to have a visual; especially if you don’t live in a farming community and have never seen a stalk of wheat or a tare like most of us. The visual aid helped me and I’m sure your congregation will benefit as well. Thanks for stopping by. Blessings. 🙂

  4. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. John 4:35

  6. That parable has nothing to do with post trib and everything to do with pre trib. The tribulation is judgement. God will pour his wrath out on the world. Hell, fire, and doom on Earth. During the tribulation there will be professed believers and non-believers that will declare themselves guilty before God and be given an opportunity to redeem themselves by not taking the mark and being martyrs for Christ. Those who have received Christ as full payment will not have to pay with their lives, hence the post trib rapture. There’s essentially two types of believers (once saved always saved and those who lost their salvation by not accepting Christ as full payment) and then there’s the seed of the enemy (tares). I’m here to tell the truth and not argue man made doctrines. Take it or leave it.

    • If you are trying to squeeze a pre-trib meaning into this parable, then you must reject what Matt 13 says which I referenced in the post. “Pre-trib” is a false Christian doctrine and nowhere to be found in scripture. Another false Christian construct is OSAS. Please read https://boldlyproclaimingchrist.wordpress.com/2007/12/28/osas-can-a-believer-fall-away/

I’m not here to argue either. All I can say is that the Father has to reveal these things to you as He did me and many others. Blessings 🙂

    • when Jesus returns he’s coming with his mighty angles and he will distory the( wicked or the tares) with the (brightness of his coming or fire) 2nd Thessalonians 1:(7:8::9:10) read first And 2nd Thessalonians and study and pray for your self, Grace and peace be to you from GOD our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, to all who love the Lord Jesus in sincerity Amen.

  7. Greetings in the name of the Lord JESUS. Thanks for sharing your study and I certainly have learnt something about wheat and tares. Thanks to you. JESUS said No man know the day nor the hour… Math24:36. “Watch ye therefore”! “Be ye ready”!- Whether secret rapture or open; or whether at the beginning of tribulation or ‘ at the peak of tribulation’ or ‘no tribulation’ the message for all is : be ye be ready! “Watch therefore for ye know not the hour your Lord doth come.” The truth is: For in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man shall come.” Math 24:42-44. I know that we all desire to know the times that is within the Father’s plan, but we won’t get anymore than what he allows us to know, especially with reference to his coming. And that is why no man knows the day or the hour. But the seasons we can descern to tell what time we are in, which is sufficient for the children. THEREFORE, let us Focus more on the harvest given us to reap, than that of the Master’s coming. For if we do his work and He be pleased when he so comes, blessed are ye. GOD BLESS All, in Jesus name.

    • Christians do themselves a great diservice by not studying the feasts of YaHoVaH as outlined in leviticus 23.In these feasts The Father has both hidden and revealed both the first and second comings of our master YaHshua the messiah. No man knows the day or hour, but we can know the time and season

  8. Pre-trib,post-trib, don’t matter . What matters is that you live everyday like it’s your last. Just be ready.

  9. I posed a question to myself what is the benefit of tares and wheat growing together? Your revelation was right on point to my notes that built up to my question. I would also like to say, every spirit will be tested and that we must test every spirit to find out who is of God and who isn’t. Along with this, be not weary in well doing for in due season, we will reap if we faint not. Powerful parable!

    • Thank you, Shante, for the great reminder! This is much needed given the unprecedented level of deception out there now. We are saturated with it! Thanks for stopping by and hope to ‘see’ you again. 🙂 Blessings – Carol

  10. Full of wisdom, thanks for sharing. God of abraham, Isaac and Jacob be with you always through Lord Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit our sealed of redemption. Amen

  11. Thank you for your obedience to God. Holy Spirit has given me a mandate to teach on the wheat and tares. I am being led to start a blog called “The Sharp Sickle”. When I googled about the wheat and tare I was brought to your page. I love how God brings us together for kingdom purposes. Josephine

  12. wheat is not the only harvest though. There is also a barley harvest. It is much harder to thresh the wheat than the barley, it requires a tool called a Tribulon (no kidding!). I am mentioning this because of your comment about pre trib rapture at the end. Good info though about how a tare looks in contrast to wheat.

    • I completely agree And I’m aware of the barley harvest, there are multiple harvests mentioned. I also agree about the great info on the difference between wheat and tares.

  13. Powerful truth. Thank you! May peace and blessings be upon you and your household for declaring the truth in love.

  14. Thank you for this. I’m convinced, since we cannot tell tares and wheat apart until maturity, that this is a picture of Christianity. Many of Jesus’ parables are directed to the church.

Its interesting how you noted that tares can make one nauseated if they are eaten…much like the Laodicians, who Jesus is about to spit out of his mouth. Nice post…I’ve been thinking about the wheat and tares lately.

  15. Great article and I’ve heard the revelation of the wheat and tares through bible study and conversations with other believers. Very interesting point you brought up about the pre-trib and post-trib and I am very curious; are you saying the the rapture is not a reality or you do not believe it will take place before the 7 year tribulation. And I would like to hear about the barley harvest that was mentioned from the other person that replied to this article as well. My email is pattersonseptember64@gmail.com I look forward to hearing from you hopefully soon. Take care and be Blessed!

    • Hello Vivian, I just typed up a series explaining this on my active publication but only published Part 1 so far. (I scheduled the rest for about a week apart) The pre-trib rapture depends upon that last 7 yrs (Daniel’s 70th week) being separated from the 69th and placed in the future. It is not a tribulation at all and I explain it. I encourage you to sign up (free) so you get notified of their release. I’m not sure if this link works below but if not, just copy and paste it into your browser. Thanks for stopping by Vivian and God bless! 🙂
