This is a prophecy series from Mike Blume who examines end time biblical prophecy taken from scripture. These are not commentaries or his opinions – they are verses and situations in context taken from the bible thereby cutting through all of the clutter that’s being taught today. He shows you, from the bible, how many of the end time prophecies in Revelation & Daniel were already fulfilled. This is a real eye-opener! Watch the whole series here or on his YouTube channel.
Subjects Covered: Dispensationalism, The Rapture, Jew & Gentile – One People
I am not a leftist. I am a Torah-practicing follower of YHVH (God). I felt I had to mention this because what I want to talk about is the RFRA “victory” for Christians regarding their right not to provide a service to the LGBT community. I want to examine the Christians’ moral position on this issue and compare it to what the bible says to see if they have a biblical foundation. Continue Reading
John 21 tells the story of how some of the disciples went fishing and didn’t catch anything all night. Then Yeshua appears and tells them to cast their net on the right side of the boat and they did and caught so many fish that they had trouble hauling them all in.
In Hebraic thought, there can be more than one meaning. Continue Reading
If you’ve ever been to a Jewish liturgical service, or if you practice this type of service at your own congregation, then you are familiar with the parading of the Torah scroll. A leader of the congregation will carry the scroll throughout the audience, and when it gets to you, you are supposed to kiss it, or kiss your tzitziyot and touch it to the scroll.
On the surface this seems all well and good; after all, the scroll does contain the Word of Yah. But here are some things that I noticed…. Continue Reading
“On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’ Matt 7:22,23 (CJB)
On Judgement Day, many will be surprised and shaken to the core to hear such words. It’s every believer’s worst nightmare – to THINK that you’re living a life pleasing to YHVH only to find out that you have been deceived all of this time and that you were actually practicing lawlessness to boot!
We all claim that we know Him but does He know us? After all, His knowing us is all that really counts on Judgment Day. In the verses above, the person being judged is essentially saying that they know Him because they have prophesied and performed miracles in His name. Yet, He does not agree with that claim. This issue of “when a day begins” was never an issue with me until this NEW teaching was introduced recently. It was then that the confusion started because I think the bible is quite clear on this issue. While “day” does mean “light,” that doesn’t mean that every instance of the word “day” means “dayLIGHT.” A day is not only ‘light’ but it’s also a time period of 24 hours that emcompasses both darkness and light. This subject dovetails into many others, including predestination, but I’m only going to address this particular verse in Matt 22:14 in context for now. I don’t typically study using Strong’s because Strong’s only defines words, and studying verses by simply looking at the word meanings is the Greek way of thinking and may not necessarily reflect the intended meaning. I study Hebraically, using thematic analysis primarily. Continue Reading
